What is the PYP?
Children learn by investigating questions.
At All Together, an IB Candidate School for the PYP, children spend weeks investigating a question instead of covering isolated content, with experiences and records of what they discover. Teachers observe each child, plan from their interests and share the learning journey with the family through photos, videos and reports, without grades.
Alongside the PYP — All Together is an IB Candidate School for the programme — the Reggio Emilia approach, which inspires us, remains present: the child as protagonist and the environment as a teacher.

Questions about the IB PYP
Is All Together already an IB World School? +
Not yet. All Together is an IB Candidate School: it has been accepted by the International Baccalaureate and is in the authorisation process to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorisation will be granted.
Does the PYP replace the Brazilian curriculum? +
No. The PYP is a framework that works alongside the Brazilian curriculum, adding inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, autonomy and international-mindedness. At All Together, an IB Candidate School for the PYP, it guides Early Years from age 3.
Is the IB a bilingual programme? +
No. The International Baccalaureate is an international curriculum framework focused on academic, social and emotional development. Bilingualism is a separate feature of All Together, an IB Candidate School for the PYP, where around 70% to 80% of the school day is in English from age 3.
All Together Bilingual School is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that All Together Bilingual School believes is important for our students.
